SURPRISE VISIT

I am in Dallas for the Dallas Cup. Cam's team is playing, and I am surprising him. I got in tonight and he doesn't know it. : )

His team, the DeAnza Force, will play FC Delco from Philly, FC Indiana and ESC Royals from Oklahoma. My folks used to go to all my games, and I really liked having them there, so I hope he feels the same about me coming to watch him.

I used to love tournaments. The excitement around the playing fields, seeing all the players and different uniforms, wearing your colors and acting cool. Hahahaha. That's what it's like with the national team, but now instead of clubs it is countries. Funny how things don't really change. If only I had picked some oranges from my tree for slices at halftime, then it could have really been like the good old days.: )
